It is our pleasure to invite you to the “OTC I: Starter Course – Closed Fracture Treatment and Casting Techniques”, which will take place on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at the Ghent University Hospital (UZ Gent).

In this Starter course, we will mainly focus on acute and closed fracture treatment, including practical tips and tricks on diagnosis and closed reduction maneuvers. An important aspect of closed fracture management is the application of casts.

Therefore, extensive theoretical and hands-on practical sessions regarding plastering will be provided*. The course is open to all trainees involved in the initial management of trauma.

This course is designed for first- and second-year residents but is open to all trainees involved in the initial management of trauma. (Feel free to share this invitation with your contacts).
